Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers, rooted in how our farms actually work.

What is a ‘Managed Farmland’ ?

You own the land, while a professional on-ground team takes care of farm planning, plantation, irrigation, soil health, and day-to-day maintenance. This way you can enjoy the experience of owning a farm without needing to manage operations yourself.

Can anyone buy farmland?

Farmland can be purchased by any Indian resident with a valid ID. The land is registered in your individual name with clear ownership rights. Hosachiguru does not retain ownership or lease the land to you.

Who manages the farmland?

Farm Management is offered by Hosachiguru as a structured service to ensure farm upkeep and viability. This helps maintain consistent standards across the project and reduces the operational burden on individual landowners.

How does Hosachiguru ensure clear land titles?

Every parcel of land undergoes detailed legal due diligence to verify ownership history, survey records, access, and compliance with applicable regulations. Projects are offered only after required approvals and legal checks appropriate to the land and location are in place.

What makes a Hosachiguru farm different?

Hosachiguru approaches farmland as a long-term ecosystem, not a one-time land transaction. With over 10+ years of experience in farmland development and management, each project is backed by legal due diligence, planned around soil, water, and crop suitability, and supported by on-ground teams who manage plantations and upkeep over time.

Can NRIs own farmland?

No, NRIs are not permitted to purchase agricultural land in India as per FEMA regulations. Farmland ownership is restricted to Indian citizens. However, NRIs can legally invest in other types of land, such as RERA-registered projects like Hosachiguru Unnati.
